Message from the President
November 2008

Hello Friends,

The NH Arabian Horse Association is making plans again for a combined Year End Awards Banquet and Annual Meeting. This is planned for January 17th at The Makris Lobster and Steak House in Loudon, NH.

Don’t miss it; we’re having our ever popular Attic Yankee Swap, delicious food and a great raffle. Find out what your club has to offer! Come and socialize with fellow Arabian enthusiasts, as we award some beautiful prizes and ribbons to our Year End High Point winners!

To sign up, go to our Online Sign-up Page, or download this Form to mail in.
RSVP by January 2nd.

Highlights of the Meeting will include our annual elections! I know you all miss the hoopla caused by the Presidential and State races so we’ll try to keep this exciting!

I will not be running again for club President. Lurline (Skeeter) Combs is planning to run in my place. The board supports Skeeter and believes she will make an excellent President. Should Christy be elected to Vice-President, I will be happy to fill her open position on the board for another year. Her position is not up for re-election until next year.  Below is a list of open positions and nominations that I have received. Nominations will be accepted from the floor and nominees must be present to be nominated. Nominees must also be a full member of AHA and NHAHA.

The following positions are up for election:

  1. President
  2. Vice President
  3. Treasurer
  4. Secretary
  5. Membership
  6. Board of Directors (2)

Nominees are:

  1. Lurline “Skeeter” Combs, President
  2. Christine Balch, Vice President
  3. June Barber, Treasurer
  4. Laura Susmann, Secretary
  5. Linda Fish, Membership Chairperson
  6. Sarah Theroux and Kathy Wilber, Board of Directors

Menu Options:

Beef entree ($28.00)

Fish entree ($28.00)

Veggie entree ($25.00)

Let us know if you will attend the Meeting, but won't be staying for the meal.
